Attention Deer Hunters: We are accepting deer! We have had a lot of questions about CWD in Montcalm county over the last few days, and we are doing our best to research, be educated, and conscientious about it. As of now it is voluntary to check in for the Montcalm area, and the head needs to be surrendered to DNR to be checked according to their website. Attention Hunters: If you are hunting in the core area you need to go to the DNR before you bring in your deer. This is so we can get the id number, and we can follow the test results. This will help keep the process flowing. Sorry for the inconvenience, and Thanks you for your cooperation!

We will be taking Deer until Jan. 8th @ 8PM. We will Not be open for the second extended weekend hunt from Jan. 11th - 14th, as the results for the mandatory checks are taking to long to come back. You will have 48 hours from the day you are called to come pick up your deer meat, as this will help us get things wrapped up.
